I am a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law in Boston and have been licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama since 1984. I have practiced primarily in the field of local government law, including planning and zoning, historical preservation, cable television franchising, telecommunications, and non-ERISA pensions.
I have represented and consulted with attorneys, individuals, non-profits, city councils, planning commissions, boards of adjustment and architectural review boards.
I am a past president of the Alabama Municipal Lawyers Association and have been certified as a Local Government Fellow by the International Municipal Lawyers Association as having demonstrated excellence in the field of local government law. I have been qualified as an expert witness in municipal law in federal court. I became registered on the Alabama State Court Mediator Roster in 2015.
